You can pay for a building permit online, via debit/credit card or by checking account.

Payments are also accepted by mail or in person at the Collector's Office located at 915 Quarrier Street, Suite 4, Charleston, WV 25301. Checks should be sent to this address as well.

For online payment, please see instructions below:

1. The Building Commission will issue you a permit and a permit number

2. Go to:CWV Payments

3. Enter your permit number

4. Confirm the permit (blue button)

5. Pay Return (blue button)

6. Select payment method

7. Enter payment information (i.e. credit card number, checking account number)

8. Confirm
