The Wayfinding Commission consists of eleven voting members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Charleston City Council.

Of these eleven members, one represents the following:

• Municipal Beautification Commission
• Charleston Area Alliance
• Charleston Convention and Visitor's Bureau
• Kanawha County Commission
• Charleston City Council
• The City of South Charleston
