I have a piece of property that I'd like to develop. Does the Zoning Ordinance dictate how the property may be used?

Charleston's Zoning Ordinance contains a Land Use Table that lists the permitted, conditional, and accessory uses for each zoning district. If you know how your property is zoned, a review of this table will provide valuable information to move your development project forward. You may also want to refer to the definitions section of the ordinance for a clear understanding of some of the terms listed in the table.
