Any time you're altering a property line, a thorough review by the City of Charleston is required. You'll need to submit a plat developed by a WV licensed surveyor. Our Subdivision Coordinator will gather comments from relevant city departments and work with you to resolve any issues that are identified in the process. Once your subdivision application is stamped with our approval, you'll take the stamped plat to the Kanawha County Courthouse for recordation.
